Freddy Oak
artist & production coach
Freddy Oak is a recording artist and home-recording and production coach, known for his hopeful, emo-folk music. With over a decade of experience writing and recording his own music and the music for other artists including The Magnetic Fields and Mandy Barnett, Freddy has honed his skills as an engineer in world-class and project home studios. Additionally, he has a Masters of Science in Education.
After his time in world-class recording studios, Freddy worked as the manager of Trans Trenderz, a record label that strived to uplift the voices of Black Trans Artists. Now he uses his expertise to record his own music and teach experienced artists and songwriters to learn to record their music at home, enabling them to consistently release music and stay competitive in the new music business.
Freddy’s passion for music and education has allowed him to make a significant impact on the “local artist”, helping them achieve their goals and move their career to the next level. His knowledge and experience have made him a sought-after resource for artists looking to improve their recording craft.
